A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF ST. JOHN, KANSAS FROM K.S.A. 12-16,128 RELATING TO APPOINTMENTS BY THE MAYOR.

WHEREAS, the City of St. John, Kansas, has determined that the provisions of K.S.A. 12-16,128, should not apply to appointments by the Mayor.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ST. JOHN, KANSAS:

Section 1.         The City of St. John, Kansas, by the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5, of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to exempt itself from, and make inapplicable, the provisions of K.S.A. 12-16,128, which relates to appointments by the Mayor.
